Looks like more baptizers than baptized. At least the lady provided a break from the standing around waiting.

Do You See "The Elephant In The Room" At This JW Regional Convention?
by JW GoneBad insomeone posted this image on their facebook page of a recent jw rc showing a rather petite group of baptismal candidates.
notice there are nearly 75 seats (5 rows) reserved for the occasion.
by my count...it looks like between 17 to 19 were baptized...with total attendance of 6,000. the youngest among them looks like between 9 and 11 years old.

Skin - The resolution is too bad to try to do anything to this picture. Is the original on JW org?

I had posted this before but it didn't take i guess. It's not an earth shattering image but it does show that the artist has purposely inserted/invented a little image onto the background.

Why the Catholic Church outlast Jehovah's Witnesses
by no-zombie inmany of us who are old timers in "truth", will clearly remember how we and the organization gloated when christendom began selling off their churches, as we saw many ending up becoming cafe's and art galleries.
i personally remember being told (both in general conversation and in print) that the fall of their congregant numbers meant that most churches were ultimately attended by the elderly and it was clearly linked to the "drying up of her waters" in reference to the fall of babylon and babylon the great..
how ironic, that this very situation has now befallen the society and our local kingdom halls..

Yes being one of the first major religions has it's advantages. They also didn't have the internet to debunk them for hundreds of years.

Xanthippe - There is something there. But what the intent is - joke by a bored artist - revenge by a pimo artist - the king of Evil known as the WT - shrugs.
Or an even simpler explanation - lazy artist that used a photoshop tool to remake the background and ended up doing a mirror by mistake because well, they were lazy.

I don't really see anything in the above picture but I do see a difference in how the sleeve folds are painted. The original artist has painted the folds in a confident way on the arm to the right. But to me it appears that someone else has added a very weak and overdone set of folds on the sleeve to the left. Just where the elbow crook is. Is there something there or did the art directors ask for an add on? Who knows. In my opinion, it doesn't look good or right.
I zoomed in on the picture to where his right is raised. I think the arm and hand may have been higher and then it was lowered a little. There are some brush lines in the background just a bit higher and to the left that suggest that and that may be why the sleeves suffered a change in the folds.
I see what truthlover123 is talking about. Just above that arm is a part of the background that is a design. The background itself a loose abstract but in that area if you zoom in a bit, you see a "mirrored" image. Mirrored in that if divided it is equal on the left and right. That is different from the rest of the background abstract. Probably a joke by the WT artist knowing that people are looking for that kind of stuff.
I don't have photoshop on this comp or I would intensify the colors just to see what extent they played with the background.

I'm an artist and I have noticed WT artist's add their own "twists" to pictures. I don't look through the mags anymore so it just happens occasionally that I do see images that are suggestive. A few years ago, someone left a mag on my doorstep that had to do with smoking. There was an astray with smoke going up in the center. Smoke is interesting to draw, but I have never seen smoke portrayed like this. There was choppy bits at the top and the smoke that was raising, was unnatural. It could just be a poor artist trying to make do, but I scanned it in and took a look at with Photoshop. What came out when I did some shadow adjustments, was two torsos, female and male in the smoke. One had green tones and the other pink so that they stood out. Because you know, smoke doesn't make a rounded W shape - a butt - and that is what drew my attention to it.
The other was an illustration of a long row of angels behind Jehovah (the invisible) on his throne. I actually was investigating all of the fancy lines emanating from the throne when I noticed one of the near angels behind the throne, with a strange smirk on his face. he was looking to his right, not quite to the face of the angel next to him. The expression didn't make any sense and neither did the line of his gaze. There seemed to be some overworking in the angel next to him as if they had changed the composition. These pictures in the "new" magazines always seem lighter than the original picture so I used photoshop to intensify the colors to bring detail back. Well there was an oddly shaped thing right below the angel's waist that stood to the right of the smirking one. Now the smirker's gaze had a point of reference. Naughty indeed.
The smoke illustration was very subtle and reminds me of the advertising industry. The naughty angel relies on the finished published picture being washed out and so their little joke is less noticeable. Are all of these sanctioned by the WT? I don't think so. Animated movies have had this kind of trouble before.
The computer I'm using is a Window pc and not the Mac that died with my pictures so I can't post them. (I went to the dark side)
